Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Right.

During the last 24 hours, there has been a tremendous wave of activity on my deviant page and comic strips. Activity so expansive that I have difficulties grasping it even now, and not having seen anything like it before. I am genuinely and honesty surprised.

Examples include: The numbers of people watching me has more than doubled. My pageview count has completely demolished the 20k border and already broken through the 30k views barrier as well, making the activity of my previous days this month fade in comparison. And my most recent Gastly strip has entirely obliterated any possible statistical achievement that my other strips could possibly have prided themselves with before, as it nows towers at 5000 favorites, close to 40k views, and just a bit over 600 comments (Read them all. Took some time, but it was a delightful occupation).

Sorry. I'm rambling. And probably bragging as well. But the way things have developed since last evening has really made a huge impact on me, as if the internet suddenly decided that it would pay me a visit all at once instead of in smaller chunks dispensed evenly over the week. I'd like to say I'm speechless, but judging by this entry, I guess that's far too late (and inaccurate).

Either way, to sum things up, I am very happy to see so many of you leaving positive feedback and showing interest in my comic! Many thanks goes out to the people who have hosted and featured my newest strip at various sites and networks, which probably is the reason why so many people got introduced to my site so quickly (places I know of: HotSexyGamer over at Reddit, bradleeeeey on FunnyJunk, and Ashley with her blog Icky Oakie Me! (along with all the other bloggers who reblogged it!)). If there are any deviants who also took the initiative to feature me as well, I'd love to know!

Welcome to Rare Candy Treatment. The next strip will be up this Friday, so I'll hope that one will also entertain you all in a similar fashion.
