My computer ran out of color this week. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused.
The Daycare is a continuous source of inspiration for me, and this strip is no different. People have on numerous occasions suggested to me that the dialogue in the pokemon centers can be taken in many ways besides one, which I feel is an idea which have been processedwell enough. The daycare, on the other hand, not as much.
I've been meaning to get this strip done for a long time, almost as long as my Ditto strip, but only now I feel it's polished enough to release into the wild. I've even begun to believe the idea, to an extent. If the debt cannot be paid, the stored pokémon will remain, further increasing the debt. Only one daycare can be found in each region, thus maintaining a monopoly of the service. Species are being bred behind closed doors while the official owners feign ignorance about the spontaneous occurrence of eggs in their premises.
I know it's been months since you did this, but since I started playing Platinum, I can't get this comic out of my mind... I love every thing about it! It's probably my favourite in this series (I should look at all of them again...)
Hey have you done one about "Fly" yet? I had a theory that the way it works is that you let your Pokemon out of its Pokeball and swap places. It's the only way a small Pokemon has a hope of carrying you. Anyway, feel free to use that idea if it inspires you.
I am SO glad I'm not the only one who thinks this about the Daycare people. Since I was a moderately sized child, they have always treated the whole thing like a hostage exchange...

I didn't see that coming!
