FTM: Dragon - Garchomp, 'Jawesome'

Never really been too fond of dragons. They're hard to get, even harder to train, and their attacks are only effective against opponents who, coincidentally, can also kill them. But they're all blessed with good physiology, and since every Elite Four round has been plagued with their presence, one could say that I've grown bitter by those encounters. But after suffering enough hardships in Pokémon Diamond's battle tower, I looked for other pokes to complement my team, and pretty much every corner on the net would recommend Garchomp.

Now, that was actually a choice which appealed to my tastes. He's part ground, a fine type I favor. He's also a murderous shark with the added benefit of walking, and there is very little about that concept I don't like. So despite my rough past with him (Cynthia's Chomp nearly killed my Ice dude, unforgivable), I managed to breed one with nice IVs and Outrage as egg move, and wouldn't you know it, he's an absolute menace on the battle field. Fast as a bullet, takes blows like a boss, hits like a train, and has clearly earned his spot in the T.T.T.T (Tower Tycoon Trouble Trio).

Although I'm still not sure if I like him. I mean, he's definitely my top choice of any dragon type, mark my words, but there's just no connection to be found. He's a dependable choice, a lifesaver in dire times, a veritable destruction machine, but I can't picture myself sitting down somewhere quiet, open up some beers and discuss the finer aspects of life with him. I guess they're not all meant to be.
