I run, I surf, I bike, but the challenger's glare holds me in a frozen prison. I avoid eye contact, but they approach nonetheless. I use up all my repels, but they are lured from the sidelines, undeterred. Why are these people talking to me?
I quickly realised that my panel planning could have used less flaws, but unless it isn't clear, the biked stopped because the boy noticed him. Not the other way around. But I am assured that most pokémon gamers would realise that, because as we all know, stares cannot stop moving objects. Yet.
I am also not entirely sure if I came up with this idea myself or if someone suggested it many suns ago whose name I've now forgotten. If anyone in the audience believes that I've taken advantage of their idea submission in the most sinister way conceivable, please address this subject in an email and I shall happily slap together an apologetic acknowledgement.
There are times when I just need to get to a Pokemon Center, and I've been through the area for ninety minutes power leveling off of Audino, never spotted by anyone, but my timing is beyond perfect, and still everyone and their dog spots me, stops me dead, and I end up raping their intolerably underleveled team, all because I need healing since I spent the last hour and a half trying to boost five levels per member of my team to rip the local gym leader a new one. It's like they have no respect for me. They spot each other, and they're both trainers, they say 'hey dude' and go back to their patrol. They spot me? 'Hey, you're a trainer that isn't that guy right there I see every three seconds but don't challenge... Hey, let's battle, stranger whom I see has shiny Pokemon that are level 9000 that were EVO/Pokerus/Macho-Brace trained from level 1 and have egg moves that can one shot my whole level ten to eleven team at the same time just on the STAB damage.' It's... I just... They're in... RRRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!! ... *Sizzles quietly*
Damn that annoying brat >.< I can remember countless times I've been caught by that stare of doom...and the few times where I was stupid and didn't have a bird pokemon, had a team with low HP and was going to a pokecenter, and some dumb trainer challenged me to a battle Cue murphy's law.
